Role and Objective

To launch Gara, I directed the promo shoot and created a marketing strategy that promotes the beauty of authenticity and diversity highlighting the adventurous and self empowering vibe of the brand. I reached out to influencers, fashion designers, photographers and adventurers for cross promotion and incorporated Gara’s tagged photos in the content calendar. I used content creation and management apps like UNUM and UNFOLD to write, plan and develop the store Instagram page. Since this is an Instagram-first store, I utilized the story highlights to introduce the brand and promote the products. Within the first month, the brand was discovered by Fashion Designer Candice Cuoco and Gara supplied sunglasses for her runway show at Miami Fashion Week 2018.
